Help without pressure
Support is provided with dignity, avoiding shame or stress.
Qard-e-Hasna means a benevolent loan. It is intended to help someone in need without burdening them. When families are able, they repay to keep the fund going for others. If they are not able, it is treated as Zakat received (for eligible cases).
Support is provided with dignity, avoiding shame or stress.
Repayment (when possible) allows the fund to help the next family too.
Prevents students from being forced to leave due to sudden hardship.
This fund is meant for families facing real hardship, especially when it impacts a child’s ability to remain enrolled.
If you are unsure whether your giving should be Zakat, you can donate as general Sadaqah on the Donate page, or consult a trusted scholar.
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Take up good deeds only as much as you are able, for the best deeds are those done regularly even if they are few.”
— (Hadith)
Even small regular giving helps families more than a one-time burst that disappears. Consistency keeps students steady.
